Cache Valley Resident Relief Fund

The Cache Valley Resident Relief Fund was the brainchild of the caring staff and Board members of the River to River Residential Corporation, the parent company of Cache Valley apartment building.

The devastating flood in March of the Cache Valley (CV) apartment building and subsequent evacuation of the residents has caused a great deal of destruction, stress, and financial loss for the residents of the CV. The CV Resident Relief Fund is intended to meet a portion of the financial loss shared by the residents of CV.

In order to effectively and fairly carry out the mission of the CV Resident Relief Fund, all of the proceeds raised as a result of this effort that are donated specifically for residents of Cache Valley will be reviewed and monitored by the Friends of CV Residents Committee. These relief funds will be maintained in a special account at the Herrin Security Bank.

Other Donations

Any donations made specifically to assist with repairs to the Cache Valley apartment building will be given directly to the River to River Corporation.

Mission Statement

The Friends of the Cache Valley (CV) Residents, a group of concerned citizens, will review and monitor the CV Resident Relief Fund in order to meet the immediate emergency housing and related needs of residents of CV who were displaced by the March flood and were unable to find appropriate, temporary emergency housing on their own. The needs of all other CV residents who were displaced by the flood will be considered and addressed as funds allow, after the temporary emergency housing and related expenses are paid, and if their needs meet the priorities and guidelines established for this fund by the Friends of CV Residents Committee.
