Routes by appointment in southeastern counties and to regional health care centers. Transit hours
are Monday thru Friday from 6 a.m. to midnight, Saturdays from 8 am to 4 pm. Senior adult passes available from Golden Circle Senior Citizens.
There may be a cost for seniors depending on the destination. For others, the cost depends on travel distance
and group affiliation. |
American Cancer Society

Road to Recovery Program in Illinois or within 100 miles of the state line. Volunteers can provide transportation
to and from cancer treatment centers with an American College of Surgeons-approved cancer program. Hours depend on the
provider of the service. There is no cost. |

Disabled American Veterans
Marion VA hospital: 618.997.5311 ext. 54266 or call the state
Veteran’s offices to arrange transit. Daily transportation to the Marion IL Veteran’s Administration Hospital. Must
be a veteran. Ambulance transportation from the Marion VA hospital to any other hospital including VA hospitals in
St. Louis and Evansville. Serves veterans from as far north as Salem, IL, as far south as Cairo, IL, and
from river to river in Illinois. Hours depend on rider and provider. There is no cost. |
Department of Human Services
All requests for transportation must be pre-approved by First Transit at 1.877.725.0569. The rider must be on the state
medical program and need transportation. A DHS approved provider of transportation must be used. The hours depend on the
provider of transportation. There is no cost for Medicaid eligible clients for medical appointments if pre-approved. |
