The Egyptian Area Agency on Aging awards federal and state funds from the Older Americans Act to service provider agencies which provide a variety of services for senior adults which are designed to foster their independence.

Services are targeted to those who are in greatest economic and social need, but all older individuals may participate. Aging services are available in Senior Centers - Focal Points in every county in Southern Illinois operated by Agencies Providing Aging Services.
